Te invitamos a recorrer una selección de estudios de arte y galerías en San Isidro junto a Ana Barrenechea, directora de ORA. Profesional de la gestión cultural, ha trabajado con ferias internacionales como Art Basel, ARCO, Art Miami y Abu Dhabi Art, además de colaborar en el desarrollo estratégico de galerías y proyectos artísticos.
Carabanchel es el epicentro de una nueva escena artística madrileña, donde conviven estudios de artistas, galerías emergentes y espacios independientes que están redefiniendo el panorama cultural de la ciudad.
Con motivo de ESTAMPA, orientamos nuestra ruta de galerías y estudios de artistas a la feria de arte que tendrá lugar del 24/09 al 27/09 en IFEMA feria de Madrid. Estampa es una feria de arte contemporáneo que se celebra en el otoño madrileño desde hace 33 años, cuyo ámbito de trabajo es el mercado del arte en España, y su foco es la formación y estabilización de un coleccionismo sostenible.
ITINERARIO
Comenzaremos en ORA (12.00h) para iniciar un paseo por el circuito artístico del barrio. Visitaremos una selección de galerías y estudios, elegidos en función de las exposiciones en curso y la disponibilidad de artistas y galeristas.
Durante el recorrido exploraremos prácticas contemporáneas, compartiremos ideas y utilizaremos el arte como una herramienta para ampliar la mirada, generar nuevas conexiones y profundizar tanto en el conocimiento artístico como en el autoconocimiento.
Tras la visita, regresaremos a ORA para disfrutar de un brunch (aprox. 13.30h), compartir impresiones y seguir la conversación.
El brunch incluye (todo se servirá a partir de las 13.30h):
Café o té (latte, flat white, cappuccino, espresso, americano, matcha o infusión)
Una tosta o mixto a elegir: Mixto de brioche con queso emmental madurado, jamón cocido, pepinillo y patatas con pimentón dulce
Precio: 25€ por persona. Queremos que esta experiencia sea accesible para quienes desean descubrir Carabanchel desde una nueva perspectiva. Más allá del arte, buscamos generar encuentros, conversaciones y comunidad entre quienes viven el barrio y quienes llegan a él con curiosidad. You are invited to tour a selection of art studios and galleries around the neighbourhood of San Isidro with ORA director, Ana Barrenechea. Not only a cultural management professional, she has worked at international art fairs including Art Basel, ARCO, Art Miami and Abu Dhabi Art as well as collaborating on the strategic development of galleries and art projects.
Carabanchel is the epicentre of a new Madrid art scene, where artists’ studios, emerging galleries and independent spaces coexist, redefining the city’s cultural landscape.
To coincide with ESTAMPA, we are orienting our gallery and artists’ studio route towards the art fair taking place from 24–27 September at IFEMA Madrid. ESTAMPA is a contemporary art fair that has taken place every autumn in Madrid for 33 years; its focus is the art market in Spain, with an emphasis on forming and stabilising sustainable collecting.
ITINERARY
We will begin at ORA (12:00) to start a walk around the neighbourhood’s art circuit. We will visit a selection of galleries and studios, chosen according to current exhibitions and the availability of artists and gallerists.
Along the route we will explore contemporary practices, share ideas and use art as a tool to broaden our perspective, generate new connections and deepen both artistic knowledge and self‑knowledge.
After the visit, we will return to ORA to enjoy a brunch (approx. 13:30), and continue the conversation.
The brunch includes:
Coffee or tea (latte, flat white, cappuccino, espresso, americano, matcha or infusion)
One toast or “mixto” to choose from: brioche mixto with matured Emmental cheese, cooked ham, pickles and potato chips with sweet paprika
Price: 25€ per person. We want this experience to be accessible for those who wish to discover Carabanchel from a new perspective. Beyond art, we aim to create encounters, conversations and community between those who live in the neighbourhood and those who arrive with curiosity. For this reason, we reserve a number of places at a reduced rate for long‑time residents of Carabanchel. If this is you, please write to us at ana@oracontemporary.com.
